Tickets Bournemouth (A) 2-2

In theory, anyone can then be sent the link and download it to their wallet
The Brentford FC website seems to indicate under Ticket Forwarding section that transfer can only be forwarded to someone in your family & friends list? My questions relate to transfers between fans not already in your family & friends list.

That’s for home games.

Your questions were about away tickets. The ticket forwarding is about home tickets which have to be transferred through the app. Away tickets don't work like that.

Thank you for the clarification. So if I understand correctly then for away digital tickets you just forward the email received which contained the digital ticket and this can then be downloaded by the recipient into their wallet. Therefore anyone can receive and use, you don't have to be a season ticket holder or member to receive and use.

Thanks. Good if Brentford fans missed out on a ticket when originally sold and can get one from someone who due to unforeseen circumstances cannot attend. However downside is it could be open to abuse by touts, probably why Liverpool away end has so many Liverpool tourists.

I've got one family friendly ticket in the second row for sale as I can't go now

What a farce trying to get in. Apparently me and a lot of others had the wrong type of phone.

So had to queue at ticket office which fortunately was 20 yards away. 6 counters but just 2 for Bees whilst there was no one at the others.

Blonde hair girl with Bees shirt on did great job

I arrived at the ground just before 2.30, passed through the security checks but was refused entry to the ground as my digital ticket did not have a barcode (qr code). I had downloaded the ticket as normal from the BFC email to my google wallet. I was told I needed to get a paper ticket from the ticket office. I had to join a queue with quite a few other Bees fans (probably about 50) in the same situation. When I got to the window I was asked for ID before the ticket was issued which quite a few in the queue didn't have with them.

I eventually got to my seat at 3.15 and was unable to purchase a programme or get a drink before the game as I planned. It was yet another example of a really annoying "internet wind up" which happen all too frequently these days and there didn't seem to be anybody either on the entry gates to the ground or in the ticket office with any common sense or insight into the problem at all ! Surely customers with a digital ticket in their wallet with an allocated seat should have been ushered into the ground and not made to queue for 45 minutes and miss the first 15 minutes of a game they'd travelled 90 miles to see.

Technology apparently makes things "easier" but these kind of incidents are all too common these days.

I had the same issue with ticket no bar code and NFC not functioning. Yes new phone S23 for me but no one else could do ot. Said needed to.be reset. I walked to ticket office and took a chance at VIP and got in as no turnstile scanners there just humans.

Phone scanned 2 in,but failed miserably on the 3rd ticket.
It must have taken nearly 2 minutes before it did scan the final one.
The steward told me to go to the ticket office and i said no you are okay with that and i kept trying much to the amusement/ annoyance of the local support.
We got there in the end.

I wish them all the best with the building work. That was a nice surprise.
