A great initiative, the boy and I are there in any case (great that it's in half term) but who doesn't like a freebie!

Who gets the ticket credit. Is it the person who the ticket was assigned to or the lead booker?

In the past I think it's gone to the assignee.
So if that person never buys tickets on their own account (e.g. a child) you have to make a conscious effort to buy through that account to use up the credit.

It’s a great gesture which is undermined slightly by the £59 for coach travel. It would be nice if that could be subsidised.

Either way, I’ll be there.

The view is that the ticket credit would benefit more people, whereas coach take-up is usually relatively small even when subsidised.

Yes they don't subside motor fuel or train tickets.

To confirm, the lead booker (ie the one who paid) will be the one who receives the credit. They will only receive the credit for the those that are scanned in at the turnstiles.

Just enjoy it for what it is. We are so lucky, the club doesnt have to do this and many clubs dont.

Maybe not relevant to the initiative Brentford are doing but that is class pricing from Sunderland

Seems odd to bother charging the handling fee !!

Perhaps you'd like to be carried up to the Stadium of Light in a sedan chair, borne by Matthew Benham, Phil Giles, Keith Andrews and Peter Gilham.

Do the relative heights work? Could be a bit unstable otherwise.

I wasn't suggesting they all have a go at the same time. Work in shifts with sympathetic pairings matched. Obviously tallest at the front for uphill and vice versa. f*** me it's not difficult to work out, is it?

Isn’t it shortest at the front for uphill? Your average potentate wouldn’t be impressed with a sloping ride…

We did a walk to Hartlepool.

Sedan chair to Sunderland just doesn’t sound the same!
