We have got to assume that they have been using these partnerships in training prior to their selection and KA has seen how they have performed so, all being well, they will settle into the game and do well.

The reception for Wilson might be interesting, seeing that he played for Newcastle.

They also have Champions League whereas it feels like we’ve barely played any games at all and it’s nearly November. Additionally, if our squad is preparing for Europe then they need to be able to play twice a week, most weeks.

Delighted with the team this evening and that we’re taking, possibly our best chance of silverware, seriously. Doesn’t mean it’s a mistake to select a strong team should we pick up an injury or ultimately not win the cup.

Come on you bees put in a performance for yourselves and all those that have travelled.

On one hand i get what your saying, but on the other Ouattara have had a bit of a slow start to the season (goal against Hull helped), and I'm probably in the camp that this is an unneeded match for Schade with his shoulder scare, while I've been quite impressed with Anthony. Wilson I'm a bit more on the fence about, but that's possibly because i see him more as a substitute for Thiago (but he probably need the game time and confidence of playing well too much to be rested), than out on the wing for the majority of the match
