England ODI tri-series v Pakistan and Sri Lanka - October 2026

[Mr Tree]

I miss this poster sometimes but not often.

I

Post in thread 'England tour of The West Indies 2023.'

22 Dec 2023

Going to be the best white ball batsman in the world one day.

LOL. Averages 16 odd in a 5 T20 series against the WI after being a total flop in the recent ODI World Cup (less not forget his flop in the IPL last year and his non contribution in the ODI series against NZ). BUT he scored 31 in 7 balls in a one off game. Ok

• Indian Bee

He would be having a field day right now!

[davido_i]

Lost - a new low in ODIs, pathetic

Who cares, hit n giggle cricket.

[Les Beeavinu]

The moon ball's not a surprise any more Sam.

[Gazza Bee]

I

Want us to be the best team in all formats to be honest. Downright embarrassing - I work with a Sri Lankan who is constantly telling me how bad they are at the moment, what does that make us...

[gashbee]

Could be costly....

It got launched towards the moon several times.

[Les Beeavinu]

Early start because of the clock change. Not a great start by England - 16-2, Banton and Root gone.

[Jam Jar]

Stupid Run out of Brook. Pitch is good though so expect England to post 300 at least

Need Duckett to get a Double Ton to get near that.

[Cham]

Duckett out softly after a mature century... 187-7

[Judio1999]

If you get a century you do expect the team to easily pass 250 !!

All out 241

Duckett 105
Curran 42
Atkinson 36
Everyone else 58

Last pair batted well for 6 overs but 20 balls wasted

[Delbee]

82/4 Pakistan

[longtimeagobee]

Surprisingly close now

[Untouchable]

Pakistan score 88 with 1 wicket left to win.

[longtimeagobee]

90 for the last wicket & the win.

[stevil]

Scenes in Lahore. Pakistan are absolute box office at times.

[Jam Jar]

Bottle job choke from England cant lose from that position. Still some last wicket partnership there.

[Banana]

Highest 10th wicket partnership in a successful chase in ODI history.

[Judio1999]

I saw him out

And turned off

DRS must have reprieved

They shook hands

[badgerbee]

Reminded me of a game I once played in....
Unfortunately, like England today, I was on the losing side....

Google Search

Pub landlord got 1* btw.....

[longtimeagobee]

Pakistan all out 110 v Sri Lanka

Pakistan all out 110 v Sri Lanka

Fix!!!! that's us on the plane home...

[Gazza Bee]

Sri Lanka win to send us out

[Les Beeavinu]

Sri Lanka win to send us out

Well that's a bit of a turn up.

[Untouchable]

Pakistan all out 110 v Sri Lanka

The Disgrace of Gijón all over again.

[Gazza Bee]

Will be close 400 again in all likelihood after this start. Maybe we can actually defend it this time...

The most irrelevant game ever. Still watching mind.

Duckett could break Brooks record here and set something truly incredible if he stays in for 10 overs

Inevitably......

[Gazza Bee]

386-5, heavy favourites but the bowlers need to come to the party this time

Maybe our NZ coaches know some back home with Welsh grandparents?

[Judio1999]

We could have easily lost that

SRI Tail folded after they were 315 for 5 with 7 and a half overs left (Chasing 387)

Dawson 4 for 49 in 10

Great bowling

Hmm. A spinner in the sub-continent. It might catch on…
