Can I ask a favour of you all. Many of you know I'm the Curator of the Museum of Richmond, we are financially struggling at the moment, our grant got heavily reduced and so we are trying to fill a blackhole on the balance sheet.
Jeremy Lonsdale has very kindly agreed to help us with a museum fundraiser, and conduct a talk on his new book about Brentford legend, Patsy Hendren. I do hope that many of you will be attend. I've convinced my colleagues to do a reduced ticket price for Bees fans, so I hope many of you can attend. A successful night, could be very important for the Museums survival.
Richmond, TW9 1TP
Doors open: 7pm
Talk and Q&A: 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Book signing: 8:30pm to 9pm
Tickets: £10 per person
20% discount for members of BIAS (Brentford Independent Association of Supporters), Bees United and MCCC (Middlesex County Cricket Club)

Blending sports history and social history, Jeremy Lonsdale reveals not just the man behind the accolades but also a figure proud of his west London roots and a champion of local charitable causes. Join us for an inspiring look at a hugely popular sporting legend.

That's a shame. I'd certainly be there if I wasn't away on holiday. It sounds like a fascinating evening.

I can't attend. Is there any way people can make a donation, or is there a Go Fund Me type thing available?

I’d be surprised if there were many GPG members who were neither a BIAS or Bees United Member…. But happy to honour any GPG member at the discounted rate.
That’s very kind. The museum is under real financial pressure at the moment, so every penny counts. You can make a donation through our Zeffy site, which is set up for charities so we don’t get charged like other sites:
Yep, I’ll be on the door and happy to take card or cash payments. Thank you
