OK so I get hes an obvious figure to hate for various reasons. But I'm amazed he didnt get the credit he deserved for managing that absolute mess of a situation when Forest got promoted and they had like 45 new players. It was like Championship manager challenge beast mode.

And talks very highly of us now. His Swansea side were big villains, but that was put to bed at Wembley.

He was also doing a half decent job at Leicester before being harshly sacked

Agreed, they tried to kick us off the park in the first ten minutes, We blew them away that day and had Toneys effort not hit the bar, I think we could have won by four or five.

He did very well to get a limited Swansea squad (plus Andre Ayew) to the play offs twice, too, even if the football was fairly unpleasant to watch and we had to put up with them as league and play off rivals.

Notable but also a bit strange that their fans seemed happier with Russell Martin getting them nowhere near the play offs, the following two years!

I hated him for influencing the Rico red card in 2020 and for talking about how many away tickets we sold at Forest away a few years ago. But I don't mind the guy these days. I suppose a break is good for people.

Remember he shook hands with TF before full time at Wembley so that he was free to celebrate with the the bees bench and squsdcas soon as the whistle went. I suppose that was generous.
