If at the end of season he decides to hang up his boots (and what better way to finish your playing career than by helping Brentford to their first cup win and a top 5 finish) I could see him becoming part of the coaching team and start working towards his badges, if he isn't already. My expectation for Jordan this season is that he’ll continue to bring the stability into the midfield but that slowly we’ll see his involvement dwindle towards the end of the season
That's the one, couldn't remember who it was who got thrown over Donkey Adams shoulderStrong Steve Morrow vibes…
I think ~this~ slightly meta variation works quite well…If anyone was thinking about doing a gag about Kansas and a Lion can I advise you not to bother. I have tried a couple of variations and its just not there.
Mmm, if he'd been wearing the Ruby Slippers he could simply click his heels together three times....If anyone was thinking about doing a gag about Kansas and a Lion can I advise you not to bother. I have tried a couple of variations and its just not there.
He’ll move back up north imoIf at the end of season he decides to hang up his boots (and what better way to finish your playing career than by helping Brentford to their first cup win and a top 5 finish) I could see him becoming part of the coaching team and start working towards his badges, if he isn't already.
You're not getting confused with the Humerous bone are you? Radius is lower arm. Shouldn't affect his range of movement unless he's absolutely fecked his elbow.Broken radius that’s bad for him can take upto a year to get full motion back.
I hope we haven’t seen the last of him.
Wishing Jordan a speedy recovery.
unless there is a special clause for really silly accidents!!!How does compensation work for players injured on international duty? I assume we must have received a fair amount for Milambo injured playing for Holland U21s and again here for Hendo. Do they pay the wages while they are out? That must be a fair whack for Hendo.
I'm not sure vaulting an advertising hoarding, after the game had finished, would count. How does compensation work for players injured on international duty? Jesus, NLB. He fell. He wasn't doing anything irresponsible. He fell. Like people do.Total f***wit. Screwing up our preseason planning.
Indeed, he should have been sat in his chair until he was called out to to substituted.Indeed but it is unwelcome and was totally unnecessary
Not the high hurdles though.Surely coaching is next on the agenda for him
Tony Adams was pi$$ed and dropped himGreat minds! I was just trying to think who the bit-part Arsenal player was. Won the League Cup (?), and then they dropped him, and the trophy!
No I don't. Do you?Indeed, he should have been sat in his chair until he was called out to to substituted.
Do you work in risk management?
Yeah maybe now I’ve seen the video but it’s bloody annoying.Jesus, NLB. He fell. He wasn't doing anything irresponsible. He fell. Like people do.
?! Can't imagine our weak link was an integral part of preseason planningTotal f***wit. Screwing up our preseason planning.
Injured on international duty will be covered by Englands PA insurers, whether that includes cover for falling over a hoarding post match I’m not so sureHow does compensation work for players injured on international duty? According to those around me at Anfield he is a fckng cnt, wnkr, fckng wnkr and lots of other names. All the best to him. Gutting to see.
Lets all remember people............. Hes a Bees player.
Im sure my holiday insurance would a way to invalidate any claim.I'm not sure vaulting an advertising hoarding, after the game had finished, would count.
They'd probably point out that you were working.Im sure my holiday insurance would a way to invalidate any claim.
Indeed. Good point Les. Although it was after work had finished.........They'd probably point out that you were working.
FWIW on this trip he'd still be covered if it had been in said fountain. He was clearly "on duty". It didn't happened in a fountain in Las Vegas (e.g.)
Ah so he can go out on a Leo Sayer after an overnight flight and it's not our problem if he ends up face down in the concreteat midnight local time on the day they return to their home
So sweet FA from the F.AThe rules from 2023 (doubt they'll have changed much if at all) state that any self inflicted injuries are not covered so we might not get anything from FIFA

Burn could have just stepped over it, Andre the Giant styleIronically I think he was being ultra cautios and that lead to the broken arm. Just before him Dan Burn (?) places one hand on the advert and leaps over. Jordan takes more care, use two hands, but one slips off and there isnt time to cushion his fall
I thought that process began towards the end of last season. His main influence this season will be felt in training? My expectation for Jordan this season is that he’ll continue to bring the stability into the midfield but that slowly we’ll see his involvement dwindle towards the end of the season
That's one expensive coach.I thought that process began towards the end of last season. His main influence this season will be felt in training?
Do we know what he's on? Would he work effectively with the lively Damien Duff? That's one expensive coach.
Every first team player will be on more than the coaches and Henderson will be towards the top of the salary range.Do we know what he's on? Would he work effectively with the lively Damien Duff?
Hmm, it wouldn't surprise me if he was having at least as much influence in guiding/cajoling the younger players than in his actual playing contributions.Every first team player will be on more than the coaches and Henderson will be towards the top of the salary range.
I guess we could convert his contract to some kind of pay as you play deal mixed with coaching but I'd expect a player on a standard contract to have the most influence on the pitch, not off it.
