I just want to comment on all the people talking about his "poor form". He's underperforming his xG by a bit, but considering he missed a pen...that's not terrible. And his overperforming his xA.

And, remember, if he gets into position but the ball doesn't reach him for whatever reason...that's no xG. Milenkovic's OG would have been a tap in for IT if it had got past.

His assist against Hull...just before he assisted, if the ball had reached him, he'd have had a high xG chance.

He's down on goals partly because we're down on goals. But he's doing well. Not incredibly, but well. I perfectly expect him to get 15+ goals this season, and another 5+ assists. Don't write him off.

Agreed, we have eight yes eight other goalscorers in the EPL, there can be no doubt that whilst Igor is down on goals his contribution to the team is undeniable. Others benefit from the space created by his presence in danger areas and he pulls defenders away to allow others their chances. We would really miss him if he got injured. Fact

The only downside to being 2nd top scorer in the EPL last season is that he set the benchmark so high.

It's unrealistic but not impossible to do that again this time around but people need to lower their expectations. Other clubs know what to expect this year.He's being shackled by their CB's a lot more but because of that opportunities are coming for others instead.

We needed the goals to be shared around and not rely on him and he'll get his fair share too.
