I can’t say I’ve heard of him but apparently highly rated so yes I’m happy got the Toney replacement in early (presumably) before we sell and teams know we have the cash

No idea about that but Club Bruges reportedly paid 8m Euro for him from Ludogorets and his stock has risen considerably since then so its safe to say he won't have come cheap.

Yes, that scouting report suggests he's extremely strong and physical, is very effective on set peices and, whilst he primarily plays as a central striker, he can also drop deep into pockets and create opportunities for others with a good passing range. Looks like we have our Toney clone.

He had a really slow start at Club Brugge, but then again their strikers really seemed cursed. And now he can’t stop scoring, has 26 goals in 40 games. He seems like the type of player that with the necessary confidence and in the right environment is unstoppable.

Transfermrkt also saying it's 37m. Who'd a thunk we'd be spending that!! Some profit for Brugge too. I'm sure they'll be happy to do some more business with us.

Hope this guy is good! Know nothing about him but if we're paying the fees that are rumoured then we must have a lot of faith in him!

Hopefully he lives up to the hype, but this looks like a perfect signing for us.
With Toney almost certainly leaving, the first half of the season showed how much without him, we missed a tall physical striker.

Big step up from Bulgaria - Belgium - Prem but looks like a very exciting signing!

Must be our first Brazilian player (if you don’t include Marcondes)
